Entrance Scholarships: |
- Entrance scholarships are available to students entering their first year of study in the JD Program. All applicants who complete this financial statement are automatically considered for entrance scholarships.
- Most entrance scholarships and awards are based on both academic merit and financial need. If you do not complete this statement, we will assume you have no financial need and thus are not eligible for such scholarships.
- Scholarship decisions are made on an ongoing basis (see ICLP deadline below). It is in your best interest to submit this profile as soon as possible.
- The Student Financial Services Office will notify you of any scholarships by email. Only successful applicants will be notified.

Income Contingent Loan Program: |
- Osgoode’s Income Contingent Loan Program (ICLP) will provide selected students with bursary and loan funding to cover the entire cost of tuition. Recipients will not pay tuition while they are in law school and will agree to repay the entirety of their loan after graduation over a 10-year period. Contingent on their income level in any of the years of the repayment period, the loan repayment may be forgiven in whole or in part. Additional details about the program can be found in the OLSAS booklet and the ICLP Program Guide for Students on our website, http://www.osgoode.yorku.ca/resources-and-services/financial-services/.
- Recipients must have very high financial need and must qualify for a high-level bursary in each year of study to remain eligible.
- If you believe you have very high financial need and would like to apply for the ICLP, you must thoroughly complete Section E below.
- If you receive an offer of admission to Osgoode, you will be given two weeks from the date of your offer to provide documentation to support the financial and other circumstances you have described in this application for the ICLP.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview in March.
- To be considered for ICLP, you must complete this form by January 15, 2025, and have completed a valid LSAT exam in November 2024 or earlier.
*Please note: This financial statement has no bearing on Osgoode bursaries or other in-program support. Applications for in-program financial support will be made available once the academic year begins. |
